There was so much to see in Antwerp. I could have spent an hour at the train station for a start, but I was whisked off to Heerenhuis two minutes after arriving. I met up with all the other bloggers and off we went. We were welcomed with amazing stone baked pizzas and wine. We couldn’t had a better start to our brilliant trip.
The Bloggers Tour of Antwerp had been organised so well by the brilliant ladies behind Function and Form. We got to explore the factory and go behind the scenes at Heerenhuis. If you’re not familiar with the brand, Heerrenhuis makes tables. Not any old tables, but they craft beautiful tables from large pieces of wood. As they say –
” We make tables. That’s what we do.”
The scale of the factory and showroom was pretty immense. You can see below the large collection of tables and the most recent addition of metal chairs. I can only describe this as table heaven. The showroom was amazing. With the quality of each table in focus, the craftsmanship and knowledge involved was clearly visible.
My favourite products were the Metal chair with wheels and the Mesa Nero table you can see them here and here. Don’t forget to check out the stunning lamp Mogu. Find it here.
Now, let’s go behind the scenes and discover Heerenhuis.
I think you can see from the pictures that this was a really impressive place and a great way to start our Tour of Antwerp. Find more on Instagram #bloggerstourantwerp.
Read more about the Bloggers Tour very soon, when I will show you our visit to Valerie Traan Gallery.
