I came across these stunning photos of the grey Form chair by Simon Legald. This was his graduation project at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. Produced by Normann Copenhagen, the collection is growing and there are now an incredible 40 000 design combinations.
Grey has been my favourite colour for years and I’ve never understood how some people find this colour boring. There are so many different and gorgeous shades of grey. I’m currently contemplating painting a wall or a room in grey. I love the way the colour grey changes in different light. I think what I’m talking about comes across really well in the photos below.
Did you notice how different they look? It’s amazing what natural light can do. I think the photos show how well clean modern design can work with an old traditional building. They look like they belong there. Danish design at it’s best. You can find other great items from Normann Copenhagen here.
I think the Form chair would look great around my dining table. To vary a little, why not have an armchair at either side of the table?! If I was to choose, grey would definitely be my choice. I love this colour!
