I revealed our new dining space a little while ago and wanted to let you know more about the rug. It was important for me to find a timeless rug and at the same time for it to be minimal. I found the perfect rug at Houseology. After a lot of browsing the large collection, I chose the Arran rug from the Houseology collection. For me the Feather Grey rug was the colour of choice.
The thick pile rug feels really comfortable and I love the way it looks. It never looks the same. It’s quite luxurious and it compliments our minimal dining table.
I can imagine the wool rug adding a bit of warmth in the winter. Not that I want to think about that just yet when it’s nice and warm outside.
The rug was hand woven in India and it’s a wool and viscose blend. I chose the colour as it goes well with my floor and interiors. It’s a neutral light grey shade, so it goes well with my Nordic colour scheme. I’m already thinking of getting another one next to my sofa.
