I was lucky to pick up 4 of these chairs for 5€ each
from somebody who didn’t want them any more..

I love them! They are in perfect condition.
The question is should I leave them like this or should I tamper with them?!
I saw this on Penopele Home
and also on One happy mess
and I absoloutely love what they’ve done.
If you don’t know their blogs go have a look!
I would like to try this idea.
Only thing is I wouldn’t want to paint the whole chair only a part of the legs,
so effectively the other way round… I was thinking gold legs and black tape?!
Or do you think another colour would be bettter?!
Should I paint them?!

Get bold on the seat, but please leave the wood! I know no one is suggesting it, but it's such a classical piece, that thonet style. What if you give it a try with paper and duct tape and then you decide? ;^)

Gold legs and black tape sounds good to me, it will look like the old retro furniture that have the legs in gold, the question is, will they match with the gold touch with the rest of the room where are you planning to use them? if not, then I would paint the legs in white with black tape…they are beautiful chairs! good finding congratssss and thanks for quoting my blog!! cheers!
