DIY oh yeah!

1/19/2012

We’ve finished the wallpapering and it looks fab! I think so anyway 🙂 Very pleased! I’ll let you have a little look.. We’ve wallpapered the end wall and also the chipboard shelf! This was my very bright idea and I think we’ve pulled it off.. what do you think?

First the chipboard shelf was painted in both grey and white to make it look kind of like concrete.. as it is not really so dissimilar when it’s finished.. So, my great DIY idea was to wallpaper the underside of the shelf so that it looks like a concrete shelf. Cool or what?! I also painted the brackets grey.

The wallpaper is from Your4walls and it’s only 22.97 pounds a roll, which for a concrete effect is very reasonable.

I just managed to reserve a 10€, 2nd hand mirror that I will be picking up tomorrow. Have been looking for a larger one for ages!

Hope you like our new walk in! I’ll show you more photos another time.

To all of you that have voted for me – thank you so much!

Have a nice evening!

Så mye morsomme mønstre de lager nå for tiden! 🙂

PS Det var ikke hytten til Sandy som brant ned, men ett hus de hold på å bygge. Dette var større enn hytten.
