I’ve spotted the beautiful vases by Faina Design a few times. The first time was at Stockholm Furniture Week and more recently at Venice Design Biennale this summer. I love the shapes. The modern sculptures are not only tactile, but very visually appealing too.
Traditional festive pottery with a hole-bagel in the middle, transformed into modern interior decoration, that has the power to unite people around. In fact, Kumanec means ceramic figured vessel in Ukrainian.
Faina Design is a Ukrainian design brand created by Victoria Yakusha in 2014. Made in the style of ethnic minimalism, the collection items introduce “naive design”? simple in form, yet with a deep philosophy behind.
I think you’ll like the pictures below. The Ztista Table is very interesting too. Made with organic materials and shaped by hand on a metal frame. It also comes in black.
