I was recently introduced to Darlings of Chelsea and I have to say I’m impressed with the large variety of sofas. There are so many great designs and colours. In addition to colour choices, there is an amazing selection of fabrics. From linen and velvet to cotton and leather.
The beautiful collection of sofas has something for everyone, from stylish and elegant to classic and contemporary. In the pictures, you can see country homes and I think the rooms have been beautifully styled. For me, as a grey lover, these sofas look stunning and I think they work really well in a white or a more moody dark home.
I think that to choose the colour of a sofa can be quite hard and find that clients struggle when they have to make a choice. My advice would be to ignore trends and stick with your gut feeling. Trends come and go, but you don’t necessarily change your sofa all the time, so choose something you know you’ll continue to love. Go for a favourite colour or why not something neutral. With a neutral sofa you can’t go wrong, as you can change accessories easily. If you’re in doubt, you can order fabric swatches before making up your mind.
For me the choice is quite easy, I would stick with something I love. Grey! It’s both a timeless and a neutral colour.
A matching ottoman is a perfect alternative to a coffee table, as it gives a softer look. The Dorset Leather and Fabric sofa looks great, don’t you think? With the matching Ottoman, it gives a more complete look.
The Darlings of Chelsea have a large collection of sofas, so if you’re looking for a specific colour, check out the fantastic selection of beautiful colour ranges here. If you’re looking for a sofa that isn’t a standard size, there are plenty of options for alternative sizes too.
