I’m introducing a new tradition this year. Cheese and wine before Christmas. We’ve had a really busy year, so it’s nice to finally wind down a little. I’m so please we don’t have a last minute rush this year and can sit down to enjoy a couple of quiet evenings together.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on a sample from Lundhs as I’m considering a worktop for my new kitchen. The stone is from Norway. As it happens it’s actually from where I grew up near Larvik. You can’t find this type of stone anywhere else, so it’s truly unique. In fact it’s over 300 million years old. As it’s a natural product no worktop is the same.
This stone is different to anything I’ve seen before. Have a look here for more details and the different choices. Lundhs Real Stone worktop come in four colours Royal, Blue, Emerald and Antique. Which one is your favourite?
In the photos below you can see the Lundhs Blue. I think the stone is beautiful and the polished finish actually makes it look like a mirror. Check out the wine glass below and the mirror effect. Isn’t it beautiful? I especially like the gorgeous silvery blue crystals. I’m sure it would look great in the kitchen as the light would make the blue crystals sparkle.
