This weeks midweek crush is for the dining room. I’ve been a black cutlery fan for a while and recently bought some from Amara.
The cutlery I bought is made in Portugal by Cutipol and is called Duna. It really stands out against the white table cloth and I think it looks great with trendy pastel colours.
I believe black cutlery will be a big trend hit in 2015 and was pleased to find a design I really like.
As black cutlery is a little pricey, I was happy to discover that you can buy a few pieces at the time. My first order was for a teaspoon and two forks!

I love this trend, I had noticed the collection of Monica Förster for Gense. But… Amara is an excellent alternative 🙂
