I discovered Desenio last year at a friend’s house and really like their large poster collection. In collaboration with Desenio, I have got some new posters in my “new” minimal approach home office. When I get back from my day job at the back of 6pm it’s hard to sit down and work on the blog, so I’ve tried to create a more tranquil space for myself.
We moved the grey daybed from the hall to my office, so I have somewhere comfy I can sit. I might still paint my home office a darker colour, but for now, I’ve started with new posters. I think it’s made a big difference. I got the posters Black Fade no. 1 and Neckline and think they work well together. I like the oak frame on Neckline and think it adds a bit of warmth to the white wall.
For over my desk I’ve got the Stockholm Södermalm print. I went to Stockholm years ago with my family, I think I was about 16 years old. I would love to go back soon, as I really liked it. I’m sure it’s changed a lot since.
I’ve gone for muted colours in my home office and will be adding more branches from our garden. I’m enjoying my view and seeing the changes from Winter to Spring. I simply love this time of year.
I think it’s really important to keep changing things around me to keep inspired. With posters starting from only £2.95 it’s possible to do it more often. If you would like to order from Desenio I have a promotional code for you. The code “hegeinfrance25” gives 25% off posters* between 27th and 29th March. *Except for handpicked-/collaboration posters and frames”.
Hope you like the ones I chose. I think they’re perfect for a peaceful atmosphere.
