We’re just back from a few days in lovely Carcassonne, France and I wanted to show you our carefully chosen Airbnb. Yes, I spend ages choosing a place. You too?! When we travel as a family, we much prefer to book an apartment rather than a hotel. It’s so nice to have more space, especially if we’re staying for a few nights.
This particular apartment felt very Nordic and it even had a few green plants. My son has obliviously been listening to me, as he shouted out look there’s a Monstera plant. π Just below Le Cite and within walking distance to the town, this apartment was prefect for us.
With two bedroom and space for 4, this is an ideal apartment for a family. The stairs were a little steep, but in an old house, that comes with the charm right?! Newly renovated, with style, this apartment stood out whilst searching. I mean, you’ve got to love the kitchen floor.
All the amenities were there, even a bottle of local wine. No complaints here. What do you think? Great isn’t it?!
If you’re planning a visit to Carcasonne and need a place to stay, you can book the apartment here.Β To get Β£25 in credit to use on any Airbnb use this link. Our host Laure was lovely. I’ll write a bit more about the places we visited soon. I mostly took photos of buildings and signs of Spring. That and the odd coffee.. love the coffee in France.
