I mentioned other day in my Velvet Headboard post, that Stoff & Stil has launched in the UK. I couldn’t be more excited. I know the brand well from when I lived in Norway. Every time we went to Oslo, I would nag my Dad to stop at Stoff & Stil and spend ages looking at fabrics and patterns. I used to love it, so I’m really happy their products are now available in the UK.
If you like DIY and sewing, you will love this brand! They have houndreds of fabrics to choose from. I recently bought a sewing machine, as my old one broke. Now that I have a new one, I really want to start being more creative again. First on my list are three cushions in wool. I’m thinking dark brown, but I haven’t quite decided on the colour yet. I’m also thinking about attempting a Summer dress. I used to make dresses all the time. To start with, I’ll choose a pattern marked EASY, as I haven’t done this for a while.
I would also really like to make a wall hanging and now that I’ve seen the yarn section on Stoff & Stil I know I can find what I’m looking for. I think this is a perfect Summer project and it’s inexpensive too. If you’re like me and haven’t yet made a wall hanging, you can find plenty of wall hanging tutorials on Pinterest to help you create one.
I’ve chosen some of many photos from Stoff & Stil. I wanted to show you what kind of fabrics they have and what you could easily create. I’ve only chosen photos from the Home section, there’s also a huge Clothes section too with lovely patterns. How about making a teepee in the colour of your choice? Sounds like a great Summer project to me. Talking of Summer, where did it go?!
