A Gift Guide For Minimalist Lovers- Perfect for Christmas

12/07/2018

I’ve got some great finds to share with you. I’ve curated a modern minimalist Christmas gift guide, with both interiors and fashion items. The gifts range from large brands to small independent brands. It’s what I love and what I would like in my own home. Find the perfect gift for the minimalist lover in your life.

As usual, I’ve sourced quite a few of these items from independent artists on Etsy. The gift guide reflects what I’ve been noticing on Pinterest and Instagram lately, in regards to colours, products and materials.

I hope you enjoy my carefully curated modern minimalist Christmas gift guide.

Let’s start with talented Danish designer Kristina Dam – design with honest materials and Nordic minimalism in mind. Standing on three legs this small bowl makes a distinctive appearance in any home interior.

The white Hario kettle makes it easy to heat coffee or water on the stove. The design is beautiful and I especially like the wooden details.

I used to love warm mittens when I was younger, these modern padded mittens by COS  would be great on a cold day.

I’m not a great fan of busy Christmas cards, so the ‘Tis the season card is right up my street.

Made of recycled Corian this marble look bracelet is a stunning piece to wear. Minimal design by All AR.M Studio jewellery is made in Antwerp, Belgium.

Nuura is a brand I’ve noticed on Instagram and I love their work. This wall or ceiling lamp, called Blossi, made with the newest LED technology. I love the rest of the collection too.

The stunning poster, Silhouette, is from the Paper Collective. Available at Skandium. Created by Amelie Hegardt.

You might remember Hend Krichen from my other blogposts. I love her work, so I wanted to include a piece from her beautiful collection of ceramics. It feels like a special treat having coffee from this amazing ceramic coffee jug.

Recently launched, the 15 Chair, in reclaimed wood by the Kovac family. Inspired by the Japanese low sitting we made this low lounge chair. A symbol of mixing high flying thoughts with a connection to the earth. The gorgeous chair is made in Sweden.

The soft leather tote bag by COS is in the men’s section, but I think most of us would be happy to carry this.

I love receiving books and this one looks so good! The NORDIC baking book by Magnus Nilsson. Nilsson travelled extensively throughout the Nordic region – Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden – collecting recipes and documenting the landscape.
