It’s Caroline here today, blogger at Patchwork Harmony and editor of online magazine – 91 Magazine.
I’m chuffed to be guest blogging as I fell in love with Hege’s blog a little while ago when I spotted her home over on Houzz and asked her if I could feature it on my blog.
I really love her style and am so looking forward to seeing what she does with her new place in Scotland.
So in honour of Hege’s move to Scotland I thought I would feature one of my favourite Scottish stylists, Rosie Brown, who also runs online shop, Papa Stour.
Rosie worked in London for magazines such as Elle Decoration, Living Etc and Homes and Gardens as well as brands like The White Company and Laura Ashley for years, but in 2005 she decided to move back to Scotland and set up Papa Stour. As well as the shop she continues to work in styling and photography and also owns a beautiful rental property on the West coast of Scotland.
I think you’ll agree Rosie’s style has a beautiful, natural feel to it – earthy tones, lots of plants and natural materials – these spaces make me feel really relaxed!
To find out more about Rosie and her business and styling work you can read an interview we did with her in issue 3 of 91 Magazine – which is featured on page 78.
thanks for having me Hege! x

Lovely. so serene…
Hi Caroline, lovely to meet you here and thanks for the introduction to Rosie and her work. The images you chose are stunning, especially the first bedroom and the eating area looking through the hall! Mel
Wow such brilliant inspiration. Thanks for the tour.
Beautiful pictures, lovely colors – and I definitely love her style. Thanks for sharing those photos (and inspiration) with us!
