As you probably know by now, I love discovering artists. A while back, I came across Álvaro Díaz Hernández on Instagram and I’ve been following him ever since. He’s an interior designer, currently studying Industrial design and specialising in furniture design in Madrid, Spain. I really like his minimal approach. Álvaros’ emphasis is on simplicity, functionality and attention to detail. Some of his designs have already won awards and I can see why.
Álvaro’s biggest interests are architecture, photography, art and design. This is clearly visible from his IG account. One of the recent quotes I found on Álvaro’s account goes really well with his vision.

Pretty fitting, don’t you think?
If you’re going to Milan, you can visit Álvaro at Ventura Lambrate during the Salone del Mobile from 12-17 April. He’ll be presenting his new wire collection with the Linea magazine holder, the Linea storage system and the new Minus magazine stand. You can get 10% off the wire collection with the code WIRECOLLECTION. My personal favourite it the magazine holder. If you want to find out more about Álvaro, have a look here.
I really wish I was going to Milan this year. It looked great last year, but I’m sure it’ll be even better this time.
