I’ve been working out of the office quite a bit lately and have been lucky to work with some brilliant brands. It’s a treat when you get to style a beautiful kitchen like this one. The kitchen units are from IKEA and the fronts and side panels are by Custom Fronts. I’m sure you’ve already heard about them or seen their amazing work on Instagram. @custom_fronts. If you don’t already know them, click here to see more of their incredible craftsmanship.
Custom Fronts
I’ve worked with Custom Fronts before. You might remember this kitchen in Nordic birch plywood, that I styled in Glasgow last year and our utility room renovation that you can see here.
“We consider Nordic birch plywood to be the ultimate material for cabinet doors. It’s been used for several centuries for furniture and construction – even aeroplanes! Besides, it’s just beautiful – raw, honest, with beautiful layers and pattern variations and having that gorgeous Scandinavian design aesthetic our customers love. ” – Custom Fronts
Tradition meets modern
I really like this kitchen and think the traditional and modern look works really well. The ceramics are all in soft whites and beige. My favourite piece is the coffee pot/pourer, This was actually how I discovered Studio BRÆ on Instagram a few months back. I can’t wait to see more from Tokes. He’s so talented.
It was great to be able to style with so many beautiful pieces of ceramics made my Tokes from Studio BRÆ. All the ceramics in the photos are hand made and absolutely stunning. This is actually Tokes (and Dave’s Edinburgh apartment. They rent rooms out on Airbnb, have a look here if you’re interested).
If you’re looking for a new kitchen or a kitchen update, I would highly recommend Custom Fronts. They’re easy to deal with and very helpful. The level of detail and great quality sets Custom Fronts ahead of the competition. Everything is hand made in England.
