Light grey daybed from Swoon

I’ve wanted a sofa for ages. Not for our flat, but for my studio. If you saw this post, you would have already seen what I chose in the end. I didn’t go for a sofa, I went for a daybed. Not only are they really trendy just now, but I realised that it would be much better suited at the studio. I can use it as a daybed, a sofa and even a proper bed. It’s perfect for styling and I’ve already used it for my latest work.

I’ve got a sofa in mind for the flat too (I haven’t told my husband yet). I love this sofa called Bergen. Isn’t it great?! Saying that I really like Merano too. It’s maybe a little more grown up, but then again I think I am grown up now that I’ve passed 40.. We’ll see. We’ve had a dark grey sofa for years, in fact this is our second dark grey sofa, so for our next one I would love to choose a lighter colour. As a Spring lover, I got stuck on the colour blossom. It’s a soft colour. You can see it below on my wishlist. What do you think? Isn’t it pretty? There are so many colours to choose from, so I think I would to go for something different this time.

Like I said, I ordered the daybed from Swoon. This was my first order from them and I really like the company. I really like the behind the scenes blog too. It’s nice to meet the people behind the designs. It’s also really great to see designer furniture at a reasonable price.

I absolutely love this table too..  and I think it would go really well with that blossom sofa.. How’s that for a grown up living room?!
