My cushion…

3/18/2012

Finally after some sewing machine problems here it is….
What I really wanted was to buy some washed linen fabrics, but that was far too expensive so I came up with my own “fake washed linen” and it kind of worked. I bought some grey/blue cotton fabric at 8€ a meter instead of the 38€ washed linen fabric. Then soaked it in water for a few minutes and crunched it up. Left it to dry and it then got the washed linen effect 🙂

I’m now thinking… could I do the same in white cotton for our bed.. and I don’t mean cushions, but as a throw.. hm… what do you think?! Should I go for it?!

  4. Så snygg den blev!! Nu fick jag inspiration att ta tag i mina kuddprojekt som ligger! Köpte lavendelfärgat linne för ett tag sen och sedan tog inspirationen slut…

    Kram Susanne

  5. That's a great way to dress up a pillow! It looks lovely, feminine but not too much – just perfect. I think you should definitely go for the throw!

    Xx.
