It took a lot of organising, but it was worth it! My first Pinbassador event yesterday at lovley South Block in Glasgow went really well. I’ve had lots of nice feedback on Instagram and Twitter. I was so nervous!
I think I have a little addiction to spray painting pineapples. This one was Pinterest red with Zoë from Pinterest UK is in the photo. Here’s my black version. I love them!
We had a relaxing evening creating moodboards and chatting.
As everything was so colourful I had to do a black and white corner. This was a part of my example on how we can make images more pinnable by styling them.
We all went home with goodie bags with gifts sponsored by Pinterest, Ferm Living, Farrow and Ball, Bloomingville, Bodie and Fou and B&Q. Thank you all so much for sponsoring!
It was great fun and I got to meet lots of lovley people.
Hopefully we’ll have more events coming up in Glasgow.

Come to Dublin?!!! Looks like a wonderful evening xx
well done Hege – looks like you all had a great time!
Nice idea!
Yes, it was great! We all had a really good time.
I think we were all a bit shy at the beginning as most people hadn't met before,
but towards the end the place was really noisy. Lots of chatting going on.

Thank you, Deborah! Yes, it went really well. I was so nervous!
I'm so glad it went well for you and I would have loved to have been there hege! Pinterest really is the future for SM I wish I spent more time on it earlier. Now you need to put your feet up and enjoy the weekend. M xx
What did you have to do, demonstration, talk about pinterest? etc?
Samantha, it was a bit about myself and how I use Pinterest and how we can make our photos more pinnable by describing our pins and styling photos. I also talked a bit about secret boards and how my blog gets lots of traffic from Pinterest. 🙂
Thank you, Mel. I really wish you could have been there. A bit far to travel for 2 hours maybe.. 🙂 Yes, I totally agree! Most of my traffic comes from Pinterest now. Yours too?!
I wish I could! Lots of work to do! Have a good weekend, Mel! xx
Very happy with your event, Hege, you so much deserve that! Congrats on the ambassador appointment and thanks for sharing the inspiring mood boards! So interesting for me to see how colleagues are using this technique too! xx
I've been following your blog and Pinterest boards for ages and now you're in Glasgow! That's great news and congrats on the event 🙂
