In collaboration with Bo Concept Scotland, I’ve created a Simple Nordic Christmas in my home. I got to style some gorgeous Christmas items, as well as the iconic Adelaide chairs designed by Henrik Pedersen. You might remember his name from a previous post about the limited edition Imola chair.
Bo Concept is more than a shop, as they offer a free interior design service. This is of course what makes them unique. There are currently 3 stores in Scotland. One in Edinburgh and two in Glasgow. You can find more information here.
I want to let you know about a special event this weekend (23-25 Nov), there is a promo of 15% off made to order furniture.
Simple Nordic Christmas table setting
A bit of greenery and a few decorations goes a long way. I’ve mentioned before that I think nature should be a big part of a home at Christmas time. For this table setting I’ve added a touch of greenery to each place setting. It’s simple and not over decorated, and as a bonus it’s from the garden. I’ve used linen napkins and trendy black cutlery (£89 for 16 pieces). The centre piece is a collection of white ceramic tree sculptures. They come in different sizes from £6 – £48. The brass Art Deco candle holders are £15 each and I think they look great. The decorations are strong pieces, so you don’t need a lot of them to create an effect.
Relaxing Nordic Christmas
A big part of Christmas is having time to take it easy. Spending time with family and friends and just relaxing is something I’m looking forward to after a very busy year. The Adelaide living chair is of course perfect for that. It’s very comfortable and I could sit here for hours, especially with a good magazine and a coffee or two. I’m really looking forward to reading the Autumn / Winter volume of Cereal magazine.
The Adelaide living chair starts from £1169, as shown in grey velvet £1499. The minimal Ottawa side table is great as it is so slim. It’s made of steel, so it can hold a laptop or a few books. As you can see here, it would be perfect next to the sofa or as a bedside table.
The concrete bowl has been a favourite since I spotted it at the launch night at Bo Concept Scotland in Edinburgh. See more from my stories here.
How unique is this vase? The Display vase was so much fun to play with. You can style this in many ways. With lots of greenery or flowers or just a few.
all photos styled by me and the photographer was Martina Ciliento.
From the 1-24th December, look out for an ‘advent calendar of offers’ across the Bo Concept Scotland social media. There will be a different offer each day.
