Sometimes invitations are very hard to decline. I was invited to the London preview of the ZARA Home Fall Collection this Friday. ZARA Home at ZARA.com are launching a new section of homeware products for the first time on ZARA’s UK website. As you can see from the photos, it looks great, so I’m sad to miss it. I’ll be in London next week for London Design Fair.
This new items go so well with what I’ve been talking about lately. You can see more from ZARA Home in another recent post I wrote here. I definitely get the slow living vibe from these photos and I can imagine spending a relaxing weekend here. Living in Scotland, I know how dark it gets in the Winter months, so these moody photos really appeal to me. They make me want to book a retreat in the Scottish Highlands. Who’s with me?
Less is more
Here’s a quote from the ZARA Home at ZARA.com press release;
“The FW19 Home collection sees a return to warmth and a “less is more” mindset-an embrace of minimal elegance, and the ease that permeates when surrounded by fewer things, chosen with care. The subtle art of simplicity is created through the sum of so many details, thoughtfully refined across a finely balanced collection of decor, accessories, and home fragrances designed to bring harmony to every room. Organic lines, rich textures, handcrafted materials, and natural elements around; while unexpected touches and vintage-inspired cues add to the notion that pieces are meant to be loved and lived in.”
These photos are slightly more rustic to what I normally share, but I think this collection would fit in any home. My favourites are the ceramic vases, but I love the tactile textiles too. I can’t wait to see more. The collection is launching on the 17th September.
